Testing - Going Long

Are you wanting to see where your fitness is at and to take it to the next level?

We are really excited to be working alongside Johan Andersson at Going Long to offer performance testing for both cycling and running at our new studio in Kista, Stockholm!

Lactate Test – Bike

By measuring blood lactate levels, we can determine your optimum training and racing intensity zones and ensure that you always make the most out of your cycling training. During the test you can use your own bike and power meter (or borrow power meter from us) or use our stationary test bike if you prefer. Using a minimally invasive lancet, blood samples are taken from the ear lobe or index finger for analysis. We measuring lactate, heartrate and RPE-Scale for best results.

The test report includes:

  • Aerobic threshold (Lt1)
  • Anaerobic Threshold (Lt2/MLSS)
  • Power based intensity zones 1-5
  • Heart rate based intensity zones 1-5
  • Sprint capacity (if you want, a maximal sprint test is needed)
  • Training advice based on the results and your goals

Test duration approx. 1.5-2h
Cost: 1800 Skr

Lactate Test - Run

By measuring blood lactate levels, we can determine your optimum training and racing intensity
zones and ensure that you always make the most out of your run training. During the test you run at different speeds on a treadmill or on a 400m track.

  • Speed based intensity zones 1-5
  • Heart rate based intensity zones 1-5
  • Sprint capacity (if you want, a maximal sprint test is needed)
  • Training advice based on the results and your goals

Test duration approx. 1.5-2h
Cost: 1800 Skr

VO2 Max Testing

The VO2Max test is a maximal test, performed on a treadmill or bike, where the speed or resistance increases every minute until you can’t go any longer. The actual test lasts typically about 10-15mins depending on your fitness level. During the test, you will be wearing a mask connected to the metabolic cart. You will also be wearing a heart rate monitor to gather as much information as possible about your fitness including:

  • Intensity Zones based on maximal HR/Vo2max

  • Heartrate Intensity Zones 1-5

  • Speed/Power Intensity Zones 1-5

  • Training advice based on the results and your goals

Test duration approx. 1-1.5h
Cost: 1300 Skr

FTP, Critical Power, PVo2max, PD-curve, Vlamax, Wingate?

If you have some other specific endurance test related to run/bike you want help with, just text or come by the studio and we’ll do our best to provide it!
